About the original
L’Homme Le Parfum is a parfum for men from Yves Saint Laurent, launched in 2020 as a deeper take on the original L’Homme. It opens with ozonic notes, cardamom and lemon, moves into geranium, violet leaf and basil, and dries down to amberwood, cedar essence and vetiver. The result is a clean, woody and amber scent with a fresh opening, made for evenings and cooler weather.
This is a genuine hand decant of L’Homme Le Parfum, taken from a 100ml bottle we bought ourselves. Parfum is a stronger concentration than eau de toilette or eau de parfum, so it tends to last longer on skin and needs fewer sprays. A 5ml sample gives you a week or two of wear before you decide on a full bottle. Notes and launch details are taken from Fragrantica and Yves Saint Laurent.
